About the author: Dejvi Malesic
Dejvi Malesic is a full time surfing enthusiast when he’s not travelling the world for business or pleasure.
A very close second to surfing is his passion for snowboarding which has taken him to various continents all over the world.
When not catching the waves of Hawaii or snow boarding down the Japanese slopes of Hokkaido Dejvi is a Petroleum Engineer in the oilfield currently working in the Gulf of Thailand. His previous work exploits have led him to various locations in Asia, the America’s and Middle East.
Surfing for Dejvi was not a natural act. He did not start at the age of 5 and was not born with a board attached to his feet. His interest in surfing were always on the forefront of his mind but this did not manifest into action until he was given surfing lessons as a present by his wife at age 30.
Once he realized that this wasn’t as hard as it looked and was an extremely enjoyable and social sport it grew into an addiction.
He now shares his tips, secrets and unwritten laws of learning to surf as an adult in this blog.
